Your Dolphin House Marsa Alam adventure begins early in the morning.

A driver collects you from your hotel and travels south toward Hamata Marina.

07:30 AM – Arrival at Hamata Marina

Arrive at Hamata and meet the boat crew and snorkeling guide.

Complete boarding procedures and prepare your snorkeling equipment.

Before departure, your guide explains:

• How to use snorkeling equipment
• How to enter and exit the water

08:00–09:00 AM – Boat Departure

Leave Hamata and begin the journey toward Sataya Dolphin Reef.

10:00 AM – Arrival at Sataya Dolphin Reef

Arrive at Sataya.

The reef forms a sheltered lagoon where spinner dolphins are often seen resting, socializing and moving through the area during the day. dive-marsaalam.com

Your guide first checks where the dolphins are and whether conditions are suitable for entering the water.

10:15 AM – Dolphin Briefing

Before entering the water, listen carefully to the guide.

Responsible dolphin encounters should always prioritize the animals.

Important rules include:

• Never touch dolphins
• Never chase them
• Do not block their direction
• Avoid loud splashing
• Stay with the guide
• Keep a respectful distance
• Let the dolphins choose whether to approach

10:30 AM – First Snorkeling Session with Dolphins

If dolphins are present and conditions allow, enter the water in small guided groups.

Float quietly and watch wild spinner dolphins moving through their natural environment.

Possible encounters may include:

• Spinner dolphins swimming beneath you
• Small family groups
• Dolphins traveling through the lagoon
• Dolphins approaching swimmers voluntarily

This is a wildlife experience, so no dolphin encounter can be guaranteed.

11:15 AM – Rest on Board

Return to the boat and relax.

Enjoy drinks, snacks and time on deck while the crew prepares for the next snorkeling session.

12:00 PM – Coral Reef Snorkeling

Move toward one of Sataya's coral areas.

Follow the guide into the water and explore the surrounding reef.

Possible marine life includes:

• Angelfish

• Anthias
• Napoleon wrasse
• Turtles
• Rays
• Hard corals

01:00 PM – Lunch on Board

Return to the boat and enjoy lunch.

A typical buffet may include:

02:00 PM – Second Dolphin or Reef Session

Depending on dolphin activity, weather and the guide's decision, there may be another snorkeling opportunity.

The exact program should remain flexible because dolphin movement is unpredictable.

03:00–03:30 PM – Begin Return Cruise

Return to the boat and start the journey back toward Hamata.

Relax on deck after your snorkeling sessions.

05:00 PM – Arrival at Hamata Marina

Return to the marina and disembark.

Meet your driver for the road transfer back to Marsa Alam.

06:00–06:30 PM – Hotel Drop-Off

Return to your hotel.
