9:00 AM – Arrive at Saqqara

During the visit, your guide explains the historical relationship between Memphis and the surrounding royal cemeteries of Saqqara and Dahshur.

12:40 PM – Memphis Archaeological Displays

See surviving statues and archaeological remains connected with the ancient city.

Stop at a local restaurant.

2:15 PM – Drive to Dahshur

Continue toward the quieter archaeological area of Dahshur.

2:45 PM – Bent Pyramid

Begin your Dahshur visit at the famous Bent Pyramid of Sneferu.

The pyramid is instantly recognizable because the angle of its sides changes partway up.

3:45 PM – Red Pyramid

Continue to the Red Pyramid, also built for King Sneferu.
